I found this BBC documentary from 1991 about the origins of Cold War, specifically the Soviet mistrust of the West:

The Bolsheviks’ suspicions of the West have their roots in WWI, when the Western powers sent troops to Russia to revive the war on the Eastern front. Those troops remained in Russia after WWI ended and tried to stifle the revolution.
The Bolsheviks/Soviets never forgave or forgot that.
