About me

This blog is designed as a forum for knowledge enthusiasts who believe that the correct and ethical dissemination of knowledge gained through education (formal or informal), during their career, as a hobby, or simply as a life experience is a civic act through which they can contribute to the development of the society they live in.

My online pseudonym is Ada and I am a professional software engineer/computer scientist. Almost two decades ago, I immigrated to a country that lies between two oceans, far from my native country. I settled in an immaculate city surrounded on every side by natural beauty. I am currently partially retired and dedicate my time to family and a few personal projects.

One of these projects is to cultivate my passion for knowledge. I want to be able to understand as many aspects of the world around me as possible; both at the micro and macro levels. A soul project of mine is to gain a deeper understanding of the historical events that have influenced, and still influence all of humanity. I am interested in Europe in general and my native country in particular.

Over the past decade one project that has made a significant contribution to my personal growth is teaching myself about international politics that are relevant to the world and the period in which we live. My resources for this self-taught process so far, have been mainstream media, alternative media, documentaries and last, but not least, books. Furthermore, I love to share what I have learned with others; whether it is the knowledge I have accumulated, my own ideas, or questions that I am still seeking the answers to. I am hoping to connect with individuals with generous spirits and intellectual curiosity such that together we explore new topics; exchange ideas, debate more or lesser-known issues, or simply discuss topics of common interest.

I invite you to visit this blog and, if you like and are interested, to contribute to its development.
